Physiological and biochemical responses of wheat to synergistic effects of selenium nanoparticles and elevated CO2 conditions

Elevating CO 2 (eCO ) levels will change behavior and the effect of soil fertilizers nutrients. Selenium NPs (SeNPs) have arisen as an alternative to conventional Se enrich crops. However, it remains unclear whether eCO biological effects SeNPs on plant growth metabolism. The current study aimed shed new light interactive impacts wheat plants. Accordingly, attempts were reveal application can modulate ( Triticum aestivum L.) physiological biochemical traits. With this goal, a pot experiment was carried out where seeds primed with plants grown under two concentrations (ambient (aCO , 410 μmol mol −1 ; (710 )) during six weeks after sowing. Although SeNPs+eCO treatment resulted in highest accumulation photosynthetic pigment content leaves (+49-118% higher than control), strong evidence positive Rubisco activity (~+23%), stomatal conductance (~+37%) observed only which improvement photosynthesis capacity (+42%).
